Esme Jardine BDS - Principle Dentist

I have been working as a Dentist in Leven since 1997 when I took over Seaview Dental Practice from Mr Clunie. Seaview Dental Practice moved to what is now Banbeath Dental Practice in 2009. Since 1997 I have treated many lovely patients and families and I feel especially privileged to be treating the fourth generation of some families.

I am married to David and we have a daughter Mackenzie.

When I am not doing Dentistry, I keep myself busy doing many creative activities which include pottery and upholstery. As a family we are Guide Dog Boarders- we have looked after more than 50 dogs in the last 10 years. We also have pet chickens which keep us amused and supplied with eggs which get quickly used as I love to bake.

And sometimes I just enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine.

Jessica Davie BDS - Associate Dentist

Born and brought up in Fife, I enjoy working in Leven and getting to know all our patients. After finishing a 1st class honours degree In anatomy and physiology at University of Dundee, I continued on there to study Dentistry and graduated from Dundee dental school in 2013.

I have worked at Banbeath Dental Practice ever since, working with families and enjoying the role we have within the community. In 2016 I qualified to carry out IV sedation in practice. This has been an excellent way for us to help out anxious patients with their dental needs as well as helping to make steps to confront fears and anxiety surrounding Dentistry. More recently I have taken an interest in more aesthetic dentistry, enjoying working on tooth wear cases in particular. I have also undertaken training in Invisalign at the start of this year and am now able to offer this at the practice. Being able to improve a person's smile is just a joy and it is a privilege to watch how this can make a person happier and more confident in themselves.

At home I enjoy being a mum and spending time with family and friends. We enjoying spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking and also trying to keep fit!

Hilary Dewar BDS - Associate Dentist

I qualified as a Dentist from Dundee dental school in 2009. I have worked in variety of places such as Aberdeen, Banff and Dundee and also in Dental Hospital and community dental practice. I am now happy to be back home in Fife working at Banbeath Dental Practice since 2015.

I love helping patients achieve a healthy mouth and smile.

In my spare time I like cycling in the countryside, walking in the local parks and hills and swimming. I like visiting new places and enjoy relaxing by watching films and box sets.

Caleigh Leslie BSc - Dental Therapist

My name is Caleigh I am the Dental Therapist at the practice.

Originally, I found my passion for Dentistry in 2011 when I began training as a Dental Nurse here at Banbeath Dental practice. A year after achieving my diploma in dental nursing and developing my skills I felt I wanted to further my career in Dentistry. I went on to qualify as a Dental Therapist after graduating from University of Dundee in 2017.

I enjoy all aspects of being a Dental Therapist but particularly working with children - carrying out preventative and restorative Dentistry but also have a special interest in periodontal care.

In my free time I enjoying keeping fit with fitness classes and going on walks with my husband David. I also like to bake and spend time with family and friends.

Calum Blyth - Receptionist

I started working at the practice in July 2013 as a part-time receptionist before taking on a permanent role the following year.

I enjoy working here because we have a great dental team and I get to meet new people and deal with different situations everyday.

Before working at Banbeath Dental Practice I studied at Adam Smith College and gained a HNC in Business.

Outside of work I enjoy going out with family and friends and watching football.
